I made this card last weekend for my best friend. She celebrated her birthday last Friday. I'm sorry but I can't remember who sent me the cut file, but I did not create it myself.
Here is a birthday card that I made for my niece Savannah. She has always been a real "Ms. Priss." She will be celebrating her birthday on Wednesday, I sure hope she likes it. I pop dotted the tiara. "Birthday girl" is from the Storybook cartridge, I believe so is the tiara.
Here is another card I made with a cut file I received from GJ from the Cricut message boards. I then added a flower embellishment and glitter glue for the dots. After I added the glue dots I thought I should have used some stones to give it more bling, maybe next time.
I made this witch shoe with a cut file I received from GJ from the Cricut message boards. I used Plantin Schoolbook for the sentiment. I wasn't able to weld "best" too good but I glued it to try to make up for it. I used orange ribbon for the lace and a orange and white button.
I had been wanting to use the clip board from the Fabulous Finds cartridge but wasn't sure of how to use it. This is what I came up with. The inside of the card I used a hole punch for the heart corners.
Here is a birthday card that I made over the weekend. I used the Wild Card cartridge. I wasn't sure which frame to use so I cut both and used one on the outside and one on the inside. The gold buttons are from the clearance rack at Hobby Lobby.
I finally had a chance to make some cards. I spent yesterday afternoon and evening making Halloween cards for my nieces and nephews. I used a variety of cartridges: Doodlecharms, Paper Dolls, Stretch Your Imagination and Wild Card. One card I used my Cuttlebug. All cards are very simple and easy to make. I pop dotted most images.
Here is a card that I made for my nephew, Sean, who will be turning 10 on Tuesday. He is a huge Longhorn fan. I was sent the cut file by someone on the message board, but I'm sorry I don't remember who sent it. I hope he likes the card.
Here is the inside of the card. The bottom strip with all the 10's is from the Graphically Speaking cartridge.
Here is a very simple birthday card. I used the Cuttlebug and added ribbon and a sentiment. I didn't know if I should leave plain or add something but I had help from some talented ladies on the Cricut message board that suggested I add a sentiment. I do like better with the sentiment than just plain.
The flower is using the watercolor technique. A friend of mine was showing me how it works and I went ahead and used her sample for a card. I still haven't decided what sentiment I will stamp on the inside.
Here is a card that I made today. I used a cut file from Capadia Designs for the card topper. I was unsure what sentiment to use and finally I decided on the Happy Birthday one. I pop dotted the sentiment to give it the 3D effect.
Hi, my name is Alicia. I have always been fascinated with colored paper, pens, shapped memo pads, etc. I was into rubber stamps several years ago and now I am enjoying my Cricut machine very much. Oh the possibilities you have with it. I live in a small town in Texas. I am a Banking Center Manager so I don't have as much time to spend card making as I would like.
